Aerocaribbean has gained twenty
years of experience, its goal is to be reaffirmed as the Cuban
Regional Airline. The modernization of its fleet has been one
of the aspects regarded as fundamental by the presidency of
this enterprise since the airlines transports annually 300,000
persons which, in some way, has consolidated its market, mainly
in the Caribbean and Central America.
The President of the Airline, Julián Álvarez
Infiesta, stated that Aerocaribbean's services and functions
have been diversified in relation to the initial period.
"Aside from flying which is our fundamental activity,
we also have our own air terminal where services are rendered;
attend the private aviation, though our main service is the
passenger and cargo transportation in this area."
The work and the experience gained by our Company are, in
a certain way, a challenge to balance achievements and difficulties.
"In my opinion, one of the main achievements has been,
that of flying for ten years without registering nor even
an accident, nor any regretful event, showing that our market
has been developed on dependable grounds, thus gaining a prestige
upon the dependability of our fleet and this is one of the
important aspects for any airline which speaks high of its
feasibility. And thus our message cannot be other than we
are the safer and more familiar option."
Another characteristic of our airline is that we have a low
rate of losses and damage in luggages and cargoes since almost
99.9% of them arrive happily to their final destinations.
Aerocaribbean... The Regional Cuban Airline
To become a Cuban Regional Airline has been something special
for this airline.
"This is a goal in which we have been working for some
years and is a part of the consolidation of our markets in
the international arena which confirms and reaffirms the outlook
and mission of the Company."
From this entrepreneurial mission of the company, a number
of particular objectives related to the constant upgrading
of the staff, has been set so as to improve the service and
thus ensure the flight safety, this is a strategy that enables
the President to state "...that Aerocaribbean crew members
have a long experience as the staff that performs the technical
maintenance has all the necessary preparation for the Company
to maintain this zero-accident rate."
The airline president didn't want to disregard what he described
as a beautiful mission carried out by Aerocaribbean: the transportation
of all the Medical Brigades of Cooperation that Cuba has in
many Central American areas. "These are flights performed,
out of solidarity from which we don't raise any profit."
The conclusion is expressed in this message that today is
