With a welcome cocktail in the new ranchón built as a
part of the expansion of the air terminal Aerocaribbean, the
new regular flight 2001 Havana-Cayo Coco-Havana was opened,
traded by Bluepass Alliance, also made up by the Cuban regional
airline Aerocaribbean, Sol Meliá hotel chain, Sol Caribe
Tours Agency and Cubanacán Travel Agency.
The activity was presided by the first Aerocaribbean Vice Minister,
Engineer Carlos Alberto Otero, along with Guillermo Suárez
Cruz, Marketing Manager of this institution; Carmen Martínez,
Sol Caribe Tours General Director; Juan Oscar Hernández,
director of Sol Meliá Promotion and Air Operations, Cuba
Division and Gabriel Becerra Peña, assistant director
of Optionals and Cubanacán Cruise Travel Agency.
This flight which has the goal of meeting the demand of tourism
and mainly in this tourist resort cluster of the island, renders
a service which is characterized by a customized attention
to the passenger the very moment he arrives at the airport
and is also to be extended to other tourist clusters in Cuba
at the middle and short terms, as well as to the Caribbean
and Central American destinations.
This action is part of others made in Cuba to jointly offer
a more competitive and qualitative product.
